September…

I have too much work and I can not upload new changes, now. I will upload a new version of QtOctave’s help reader. It can read Octave’s info files and makes QtOctave code more light weight.

I have opened a new forge in BerliOS:

http://developer.berlios.de/projects/qtoctave/

Then we can use two forges :)

Is this written with Qt3 or Qt4. I can’t tell.

    It’s written with Qt4.

    Hi,

I’d really like to use QtOctave but have no luck starting it under Windows XP. I tried to compile both versions 0.8.1 and 0.8.2 with MinGW agains Qt 4.5.2 and both compiled without problems (0.8.2 only after I did the modifications described in the comments). But when I try to start the binary, I get an error message saying something like (it’s in Germany): “The application could not be correctly initialized (0×0150002). Press “OK” to stop the application”.

I succeeded to build and start it under OpenSuse 11.1 but under windows it doesn’t work. Do you have any idea what could be the reason for this?

Is it possible to have the email address of P.L. Lucas ?
I would like to contribute to qtoctave but I haven’t been able to find a working email.
    acisif@mixmail.com is not working.

    Thanks

    rebisarlo. Es puro Matlab!!

I’m using Mac OS and qtoctave is included in port. So i installed it but when I try to run it the following error appears :
    Building .qtoctave user config
    /Users/joebob/.qtoctave/config.rc no encontrado
    Segmentation fault

Thats because joebob doesn’t exist. So I tried to create the files. Than at least qtoctave ist starting but the menues are missing with the error prompt:
    [Sytax::load] /opt/local/share/qtoctave/octave.xml loaded
    Error: /Users/joebob/.qtoctave/menus not found

Do you know some workaround ?
